Who: LA Restaurant Daily and Banner Blindness Los Angeles video production company is filming a cutting edge restaurant television show.

The manager at Cafe Brasil on Venice Blvd.

What: We are looking for actors/actresses interested in doing restaurant reviews. You will be given 3 hours (from 12noon to 3 pm or 6 pm to 9 pm) to organize a restaurant review. This is a real-time, live, reality based, whatever you want to call it television show. During your 3 hours you will be filmed (from any starting point you want: house, office, outside a restaurant, inside a restaurant, in a parking garage, at a grocery store, etc…) and you must complete a restaurant review with a digital camera. At the end of the 3 hours there will be two sets of tape. Yours and the one the camera man/woman filmed (of you doing a restaurant review). The camera man will start a timed watch at 12noon or 6 pm at a designated start location you arrange. Camera man/woman will arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your 3 hours to do a restaurant review. You can plan as much as you want prior to your 3 hour filming, and can shoot as much as you want, and include that pre-3 hour footage in the final submission you send to us. You are allowed to bring a camera man/woman with you if you desire. This is beneficial if you are trying to do interviews and be more of a “host” for the 10 minute max restaurant review you are shooting.

Where: Anywhere in West LA, Santa Monica, Venice, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, etc….

When: This Thursday, Friday, or next Thursday or Friday. 12noon – 3pm and 6pm – 9pm.

Why: Because you might be on TV and whoever produces the best restaurant review video in the 3 hours will win/earn $10,000*. We are looking to shoot 30 contestants in the next 2 months. Think you have what it takes to produce the best restaurant review in 3 hours time? Will you risk going to a local hot dog stand, or try and get into an exclusive LA restaurant in Beverly Hills prior to your 3 hour taping? Creativity here is as unlimited and as vast as the Universe.

How: You must have a digital camera with an 8 GB memory card, high end resolution, and the ability to edit and create an interesting/high end video. Your video camera quality must be confirmed before your 3 hour video shoot. You can also use an HD camcorder if you have one. We will not edit your final video, but we will edit our version at our own discretion. You don’t have to be amazing at filming or editing, but you will be responsible for delivering a final high-end product/piece to submit to the contest. You will have up to 48 hours to edit the video review YOU or your camera person shoots during your 3 hours and email it to us. Your final video you submit can not be longer than 10 minutes. The final cut that will hopefully appear on TV will be a combination of both your video and our on-site cameraman’s video – or whatever our editors put together. Television viewers will be able to log onto our website to view the two different perspectives of the restaurant review, and the final cut/pictures of your experience.
