Los Angeles Italian cuisine – Anna’s Italian Restaurant on Pico – Closing in June 2010
After hearing that Anna’s is closing in June I made sure to get there ASAP. For two reasons: because the food is amazing and we had a restaurant.com gift certificate that was only good for another month or so. Anna’s has old school italian restaurant charm, with top-notch italian american dishes, with some of the best servers in Los Angeles.
I had a $25 restaurant.com coupon and had to spend $50 – so I ended up ordering way too much. I can’t remember the exact name of the pasta dish I had, but it was just so/so. General rule of thumb: keep it simple stupid – and you will never have a bad meal out. The thin crust cheese pizza and half bottle of red wine tasted great. Their salads are fresh, crisp, moist, and the italian blue cheese dressing is to die for.
