You really can’t go wrong with French food and Comme Ca cooks to perfection. A modern day French brasserie that open just three short years ago has already become a popular restaurant. Wine isn’t the only drinks they have to offer. They have an 18A drink menu that will wow you with their unique mix of drinks.

There are sandwiches and salad dishes galore to choose from in addition to seafood such as oysters and shrimp cocktails. No French restaurant would be complete without the cheese and Comme Ca is no exception, you can choose from a couple of cheese platters on offer. Dinner is especially nice and they have a different specialty every day to choose from. You should start with an hors d’oeuvres or too, with endive salad, crab cakes, soups, and many other dishes. Among the entrees you’ll find duck, salmon, lobster, as well as beef, and even cheese.

Not enough? There are plenty of side dishes, such as pommes frites, as well as dessert. The crème brulee and profiteroles are especially tasty. The salmon was a little dry, but the green juicy fatty sauce poured all around the filo dough made it succulent.

Is this dish Italian or a Persian pizza? I think u could spin off a whole new type of pizza restaurant with exotic pizza dishes like this.

There is nothing like going to a restaurant and leaving with baked goods. Only in LA, only good in LA.

Some girl I was “dating” broke up with me because of some pics and a vid i posted on LARestaurantDaily.com. While she was breaking up with me, I recorded the call on my comp, posted it as a video and updated the blog post on LARestaurantDaily.com with related news. So I get a call from Redondo police this morning asking me to remove it. So I took it down. They said it was illegal to record someone without their permission in the state of california. So I asked him how come I get recorded by Red Light Camera’s – therefore my photo red light enforcement ticket is illegal

Basix cafe received 3.5 stars and 155 reviews on Yelp. I would say that is a fair characterization of Basix. It’s certainly not Basic though – the decore, service, and food all come together in an enjoyable lunch atmosphere time and time again.

The food is downright delicious, high-end, and well priced. The outside patio is a real people-watcher crows nest for beautiful gay men and lovely West Hollywood post college blonds. I’ve been here twice and would certainly come back once a week if I lived closer. I’ve eaten the pasta with turkey meat balls, pizza, salad, and even enjoyed a nice Marlboro light on the porch dining area.
