Porto Alegre Churrascaria
This is a great restaurant to go to for fine dining. You can treat yourself to authentic Brazilian food and they have a buffet for people like me who have a hard time making up their minds what they want to eat. They’re tech savvy as well. You can make a reservation online and even view a video of their restaurant and get a snake peek at the food cooking in the kitchen.
Porto Alegre Churrascaria is a Brazilian steakhouse, but they also have a fantastic salad bar. Beef, steak, chicken, pork, quail, turkey, lamb, and duck are just some of the meats on offer. Prices are a bit steep, but the quality more than makes up for it. If you’re on a budget, go online and look at their exclusive offers. Never hurts to save money. They have a great ambience going that will make you reluctant to leave. You’ll fall in love with the décor the moment you step in the door.
The salad bar deserves a rave of its own. Gotta try the salmon. It’ll melt in your mouth. There are heaps of choices and with four rows full of salad goodies, you’ll definitely find something you like. The asparagus is sweet, there are clams, calamari and other seafood, as well as the unexpected, such as fried bananas. It’s $35 a person, but money well spent.

Caffee Etc 6371 Selma Ave LA CA 90028 (323) 464-8824
Caffe Etc. is a quaint restaurant located in Hollywood on Cahuenga and Selma. There are meat, vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
My favorite thing about eating at Caffe Etc is how I feel afterwards. No matter what I order I feel good! There are “healthy” choices. For example, my Sundried Tomato Panini ($10.75) came on wheat toast with a side salad of mixed greens and a balsamic vinegrette dressing. I also had a Chunky Chicken Salad ($9.95 Whole) that had beautiful white meat chicken chunks, tomatoes, celery, white onion & lemon juice. This sat on a bed of baby mixed greens. The portion was HUGE (see pic). The special treat for after your meal is the gelatto. My favorite was the Pomello and Coacoa. The flavors were so strong and again, not leaving me feeling bad after eating it.
The service was very friendly and knowledgable. They can immediately tell you about the ingredients, whether it is Kosher, Vegan, Vegetarian or their favorite on the menu! The atmosphere was very comfortable. Seating with a wide selection of magazines and wi-fi internet to keep you entertained with your fresh cup of coffee for hours. The drinks offered are specialty coffees (blended, iced or hot), regular drip coffee, espresso, tea, hot chocolate and smoothies!
Def stop at Caffe Etc if you are in the area. Bring your coworkers here for lunch! Eat in or take out! Free delivery is available for the immediate area with a $20 minimum order.

Komodo – # 1 Ninja in STREET WAR over food TURF – June 2010 – ACTION Channel # 7 Reporting
Komodo serves up some sick ninja street war assasin food. The food is rich in flavor, ingredients, preperation, and service. Recently we were across the street at another Los Angeles mobile vending restaurant. Komodo clearly thinks they are the best mobile food truck in Los Angeles. I didn’t try my friends food, but I have to say it didn’t nearly look as good as what I ordered.
My mini tacos didn’t have the spice or kick I was looking for. However, I did not look at their menu closely enough – as they indicate by color the level of spice. So I assume there are some spicy dishes for those who like to indulge in kurry ecstacy.
The owner of this los angeles mobile restaurant was extremely nice. I told him what we do here at LARestaurantDaily.com and he gladly told us on camera about his business. Please leave a comment and let the owner know what you think about his culinary entrepreneurial endeavor
Location: Sawtelle and Olympic – a block down from the Yogurtland at Sawtelle shopping plaza.
Tell ‘em LARestaurantDaily.com sent you and that John says hello and that he cooks up better food than half the restaurants in Beverly Hills!
