Vinotega
When you combine Italian cuisine with Brazilian style you get Vinotega. Nestled between Farfalla and Tropicalia Grill on Hillhurst Ave. in Los Feliz, Vintoega is a samplers haven of tapas, unique wines and dozens of cheeses. The tiramisu is homemade to perfection. The atmosphere doesn’t remind you of a café in Venice, but more like a modern winery in Napa Valley.
The walls are lined with a plethora of Californian and international wines. And while the friendly staff pours customers another glass, they’re most likely preparing their most beloved dish – risotto in grozza served in a Parmesan cheese wheel. The cart is rolled out carrying the 2 foot wheel of cheese, the lid is taken off and presto, the dish is served.
If you’re looking for an exceptional wine bar experience, then Vinotega is the place to go.

Muma
There are some days when you want restaurant quality food without having to go out. If that’s the case, then good food is just a phone call away. Muma, located on 7275 Melrose Ave offers delicious Mediterranean food delivered right to your door step.
The dish to try is the falafel. Packed with falafels and made to order, you couldn’t ask for more. While the prices are low, you’ll be getting more than what you paid for. If that’s not enough, the falafel balls are made fresh and ready to order, so they’re not sitting under heat lamps waiting for you to place your order. If you’re into fresh salads, hit the salad bar where health food nuts can have a ball. A variety of lettuce, veggies and dressings are all waiting for you. You’ll find plenty of other Mediterranean fare there, such as tahini, hummus, and eggplant dishes as well.
Even the drinks have a special kick to them. Try the jalapeno lemonade. It sounds strange, but it will have you going back for more. If you’re not that daring, then try some of their fresh juices, guaranteed to have you think that you far off on the beaches of the Mediterranean. So if you feel like eating in and having some exotic Mediterranean flavors, Muma.
