Grubhub.com 1st time customer reviews the site, service, and food in delivery complicated West LA.
So I started out looking for a pizza delivery service in West LA. I assume Pizza.com, so I went there, entered my information, but couldn’t find any satisfactory pizza delivery businesses based on Yelp.com pizza reviews.
As you can see there are only 9 pizza delivery businesses in Los Angeles when searched for Pizza Delivery in West LA. What a great business opportunity! LA needs a good 24 hour pizza delivery service. There must be some permit limitations in place putting an end to a premium delivery service. Anyhow, on to the restaurant review and review of GrubHub.com and my experience. T – 30 minutes till anticipated delivery of a Pepperoni pizza and chicken fingers with three dip sauces. I plan on drinking OJ I have on hand.
Grub Hub’s coding and graphic design is looking good these days – check this video of Grub Hub being featured in the news, reported on facebook. Groupon be damned, local delivery online through Grub Hub is wicked awesome. Let’s hope the food comes on time and tastes great; and I will be willing to keep testing delivery in West LA.
So GrubHub asks if you heard about their site through a particular blog, I put in this website, so if you are reading this GrubHub – HELLO
Happy New Years.
On to the food from Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine:
The pizza was a mouth explosion of flavor, grease, dough, pepperoni, cheese, deliciousness, incredible fatiness. As I was easting it, I was saying to myself, it’s ok, because some nights you just have beans and salad. But tonight, it was binge night, and the pizza was incredible, for having it delievered to your front door. Relatively speaking, I would put it a step above Pappa Johns or Dominos; so not much to speak of, but still damn good. Remember, it’s always best to consume medical marijuana in Los Angeles to enhance or supress your appetite depending on whether your trying to lose weight, gain weight, or eat food high for medical conditions, or esoteric reasons.
The Chicken Fingers from McDonalds are honestly better. These thin, extra crispy, hard to chew, deeply greasy, nasty pieces of chicken tasted horrible; yet at the same time, so greasy and nasty, it tasted like a sweaty dirty cat paw in your mouth, but somehow tasted good on a purely chemical level; lol. Don’t order these nasty things.

The Frankenstand
A hot dog cart with a twist, everything’s vegan, and the food is Halloween themed, The Frankenstand is sure to be a hit for vegans and non-vegans. Cheap and delicious, you can’t go wrong. As with all hot dog stands, you can find your favorite condiments, such as onions, pickels, relish, sauerkraut and even vegennaise, their version of mayonnaise. Following their Halloween theme, you can choose from three vegan sausages: the witch, the franken, and the wolf. Scarily enough, they actually taste like meat.
A true hot dog stand, The Frankenstand moves around LA, so keep your eyes peeled and when you see it, order a hot dog or two. Thank goodness for modern technology, you can find them by following them on twitter. Or try going to their MySpace website.
The one downside to The Frankenstand? They move around, so one day they might just be right outside your door and the next you might have to drive a bit to find them. Either way, when the craving hits for a vegan hot dog, you know the place to go. Go to Twitter and MySpace and find out where The Frankenstand is.
