Los Angeles Cupcakes
Los Angeles Cupcakes have a new name: Madalyns Cup Cakes – they are the perfect catered desert for your next event, big or small. Madalyns cupcakes come in wide variety of delicious flavors to try. Madalayns was kind enough to give me a sample pack to bring to my office to share with co workers. In the video above you can see them debating their choices on which cup cakes to try.
Why you should cater your next event with deserts from Madalyns in Los Angeles: It’s healthy, decadent, and delightfully non filling. I can’t stand big portions these days, and when an event has “birthday” cake, I always end up gorging and gaining a few pounds. Madalyns Cup Cakes in Los Angeles aren’t filling, their ingredients are ultra-sugary, and they feel refreshingly light on the stomach and the waste.

Los Angeles Sushi Review – Koda Sushi & Sake –
Koda Sushi & Sake restaurant is exactly what you need this September to fill your budget weary stomach. Celebrities, hipsters, and Rocky Horror fans don’t have to travel far for sushi. A restaurant with inside out seating and giver of inner goodness is found across from the 99 cent store near Silver Lake’s Sunset junction. The bargain shopping continues with the $4 happy hour from 12 PM to 7 PM, every day. Enjoy the delicately prepared benefits of sweet short-grained rice, rolled up in fresh seaweed to the tongue’s desire. An array of fresh salads are available to start things off right, like the ocean seaweed salad served on a bed of baby green lettuce. For vegans and vegetarians, there are plenty of options such as an avocado roll and veggie tempura roll. With nearly 20 rolls available at a low price, it doesn’t take much to kiss the hunger sianara.

Heart Attack Grill Restaurant
Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, AZ recently made it’s international debut on Al Jazeera. Heart Attack Grill plans on opening another artery clogging eatery in Dallas Texas shortly. Heart Attack Grill uses innovative marketing methods such as: gowns for all customers, 350+ LB customers eat for free, and a free wheel chair ride back to your car. The owner suggests that potential customers shouldn’t be worried about the fat or cholesterol, instead, they should just enjoy it!

Tequila Taco Night
The video above is so entertaining we just had to post it. If restaurants ever served up a nearly 40,000 calorie burrito, the FDA might have to get involved. This youtube entertainer sure knows how to cook up some interesting mexican dishes.

Honey String Candy made in Korea
South Korean business school grad goes to the streets with his exponential honey candy making skills. Look’s like a gooey, stringy, tasty treat that can be quite popular here in the USA. I know in Skokie, IL there is a grocer called HMart that has small business vendor kiosks on the way out of the market – seems like a perfect fit for many small korean marketplaces across the USA.

Grubhub.com 1st time customer reviews the site, service, and food in delivery complicated West LA.
So I started out looking for a pizza delivery service in West LA. I assume Pizza.com, so I went there, entered my information, but couldn’t find any satisfactory pizza delivery businesses based on Yelp.com pizza reviews.
As you can see there are only 9 pizza delivery businesses in Los Angeles when searched for Pizza Delivery in West LA. What a great business opportunity! LA needs a good 24 hour pizza delivery service. There must be some permit limitations in place putting an end to a premium delivery service. Anyhow, on to the restaurant review and review of GrubHub.com and my experience. T – 30 minutes till anticipated delivery of a Pepperoni pizza and chicken fingers with three dip sauces. I plan on drinking OJ I have on hand.
Grub Hub’s coding and graphic design is looking good these days – check this video of Grub Hub being featured in the news, reported on facebook. Groupon be damned, local delivery online through Grub Hub is wicked awesome. Let’s hope the food comes on time and tastes great; and I will be willing to keep testing delivery in West LA.
So GrubHub asks if you heard about their site through a particular blog, I put in this website, so if you are reading this GrubHub – HELLO
Happy New Years.
On to the food from Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine:
The pizza was a mouth explosion of flavor, grease, dough, pepperoni, cheese, deliciousness, incredible fatiness. As I was easting it, I was saying to myself, it’s ok, because some nights you just have beans and salad. But tonight, it was binge night, and the pizza was incredible, for having it delievered to your front door. Relatively speaking, I would put it a step above Pappa Johns or Dominos; so not much to speak of, but still damn good. Remember, it’s always best to consume medical marijuana in Los Angeles to enhance or supress your appetite depending on whether your trying to lose weight, gain weight, or eat food high for medical conditions, or esoteric reasons.
The Chicken Fingers from McDonalds are honestly better. These thin, extra crispy, hard to chew, deeply greasy, nasty pieces of chicken tasted horrible; yet at the same time, so greasy and nasty, it tasted like a sweaty dirty cat paw in your mouth, but somehow tasted good on a purely chemical level; lol. Don’t order these nasty things.

In COUNTER INTELLIGENCE, Fusion Without the Pretension: Daisy Mint aims to please all lovers of Asian food. By Jonathan Gold. In ASK MR. Along with partner Noah Ellis, pastry chef Jordan Kahn — formerly of Per Se, Michael Mina and Alinea — officially opened the doors to Red Medicine (8400 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills) , a “Vietnamese canteen” reminiscent of the pair’s favorite little Vietnamese spot. The menu is divided into Hands, Cold, Veg, Protein and Large Format sections; we’re looking forward to the foie gras banh mi finger sandwiches, Blue Lantern bay scallops with braised radish in a beurre blanc sauce, and a five-spice duck with charred frisee. Or we might just get a group together and try Snake River Farms American Wagyu beef brisket (reserved for parties of five or more). Dishes range from $6 to $21.
This Friday, Dec. 17, Les Deux (1638 N. Las Palmas Ave., Los Angeles) is officially re-opening its doors and revealing a massive makeover. If you haven’t heard (or didn’t religiously watch The Hills), the one-time celebrity hot spot has reinvented itself as a neighborhood gastropub with New American dishes — think hush puppy toast points with Norwegian smoked salmon; steamed Prince Edward Island mussels with leeks, bacon, whole grain mustard, and herbed crostini; burger wedges made with house-ground Black Angus beef; and three-cheese grilled cheese served on country bread with tomato basil soup — an organic beverage program using herbs from their organic rooftop garden, and a selection of international craft beers and wines.
The “kosher corridor” along Pico Boulevard near Robertson, which has seen more new restaurants in the past couple years than it had probably seen in the previous decade, gets another addition in Twenty-Six by Shiloh (8657 Pico Blvd., Los Angeles). Set to open at 4 p.m. on Dec. 16, this is an upscale, dairy (read: vegetarian) restaurant featuring Glatt kosher food under Kehila supervision. The menu, created by Chef Katz (real name: Katzuji Tanava!), who’s also the chef at Shiloh’s Kosher Restaurant, just a few blocks west, features homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas and other broadly European fare.

Food Truck Franchise
Food truck franchises are one of the fastest growing sectors in the franchise industry. Food truck operators in Los Angeles earn an average income of around $100,000 a year or more with their mobile restaurants. No permits, licenses, or retail store front leases are needed. If you want to quickly start selling “food” or “product” you can be up and running your own food truck in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Seattle, Chicago, or Houston. Additionally, instead of purchasing a franchise from a successful Los Angeles food truck, you can purchase a food truck business.
Call: (312) 560-0175 or email Support@FoodTruckFranchise.com for more information. The Food Truck Franchise is part of a Banner Blindness Venture Capital investment.

In 2008 I started a company called “The Bread Bar” with the intention of eventually having a fleet of Gourmet Trucks. I spent about 8 months custom building a prototype and received license to operate it from the San Diego Department of Health. In August 2008 we test marketed this unit for a month.
Due to personal reasons, I made a decision not to go forward with this project. The unit has been in storage at a garage in La Jolla for the last 2 years. I am anxious to either sell the unit or partner with someone who would operate it.
A food van works well with minimal costs and no long-term lease commitments. It also offers you the opportunity to try different locations.
You can operate the unit in a permanent location such as a gas station, a shopping center, or wherever you find the right kind of traffic. You can also attend various events or farmer’s markets, or a combination of a permanent location during the week, and events on the weekend.
Should you like to talk further please feel free to contact me at 858/ 459-2577.

Japanese people have uniquely different senses of taste from that of people life myself: White Boy. The Japanese and asian population of this area all seem to like micro-foods. What is a micro-food? A micro-food is basically tapas entrees, but cheap, smaller in proportion, but still a great value for you money.
Recently, I ate some Japanese food truck franchise food on Sawtelle and I think it was deep friend mayonaise. I’m still not quite sure still, and it damn near burned the skin off the roof of my mouth. The insatiable Japanese youth of this area are addicted to the micro-junk-japanese cuisine that flourishes in this beautiful area of West Los Angeles.

Italian restaurant Los Angeles
Enzo & Angela The Italian restaurant is located at:
11701 Wilshire Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90025
(310) 477-3880
Hours:
Mon-Fri 11 am – 10 pm
Sat 5 pm – 10 pm
The Italian restaurant is a mix of incredible atmosphere, lighting, taste, smells, sounds, and culinary excellence. I had a glass of red wine, fresh garden salad with crushed pepper, and a “heavy” mostaccoli steak pasta.
I wasn’t really impressed with the entree, it looked good, tasted alright, was the right temperature, but was just rather bland. It needed more spice, more cheese, more flavor!
The service was incredible, and the flamboyant Italian with the movie star hair was fast and courteous. Tip your servers well here.
I didn’t have any room left for desert, so until next time!
